Société Francophone d’Études et de Recherche sur les Handicaps de l’Enfance (SFERHE) (French-speaking society for study and research into childhood disabilities)

The Société Francophone d’Études et de Recherche sur les Handicaps de l’Enfance is organizing its XVth annual congress on Wednesday and Thursday, April 3-4, 2024 at the Cité de Congrès in Nantes.

Objectives
Against the backdrop of preparations for the 2024 Olympics, the themes selected will correspond to the following objectives:

  • current situation and outlook for sport among people with disabilities
  • mobility and exercise retraining: towards improved participation
  • nutrition and metabolism during exercise
  • understanding parasport and adapted sports
  • understand the path from competition to Olympic success

Audience
Professionals and parents concerned with disabilities in children and adolescents.

The congress will take place over 2 full days, with plenary sessions, satellite workshops, a sports village, partner exhibitors and plenty of surprises!
All parts of the event will be accessible to people with reduced mobility. Lectures will be given in French.
