Launch of the Social Innovation 2025 Prize
PROPOSING CONCRETE SOLUTIONS TO IMPROVE PATIENTS’ DAILY LIVES
Each year, the Prix de l’Innovation sociale supports an initiative that makes a difference to the day-to-day lives of people with rare diseases and their families.
The €20,000 prize is aimed at associations, rare disease networks, rare disease institutions and research teams.
APPLY FOR THE SOCIAL INNOVATION 2025 AWARD
To be selected, the project must meet the following five criteria:
- Innovation: the project must provide an innovative response to an unmet need.
- Openness: the project must be able to be modeled to help people suffering from other pathologies.
- Feasibility: the project must demonstrate a viable business model and be technically feasible.
- Evaluation: the project must be evaluated on the basis of clearly defined objectives.
- Implementation: the project must take place within 18 months of the award date.
Only complete applications will be considered by the Foundation.

The projects received will first be evaluated by an Operational Committee. The final decision will be taken by the Board of Directors, and candidates will be informed in December 2024. The winner will be announced at the Foundation’s gala evening in 2025.
